Surachai has a really micro approach to making harsh electronic metal. In the temporary guise of black metal, this album is instead an exploration of textures, creaks and grinds and drum hits are flattened and compressed to make an album that's difficult to picture as a whole, being more a collection of microscopic moments. It's like a long canvas in a narrow hallway, you can't take it all in but as you progress you find yourself pressed up against each fresh wave of sound. Tom Colquhoun
